We are extremely pleased with the work John has done for us. This is the 2nd time we have used John. The 1st time, involved installing hardwood next to rooms that already had wood floors. John was able to piece the new wood with the existing wood so that it looked like it was all installed at once. He did such a good job that, when we moved we used him again to install hardwood in several rooms in our new home. The work is beautiful and John is completely professional.

John arrived on time the day my floors were scheduled. He removed carpet and replaced with hardwood to match two other connecting rooms. It turned out beautiful. He re-did the 2 connecting rooms and they blend perfectly. You would never know the other two rooms had 7 year old wood. I am very pleased. John is very meticulous about his work and cuts no corners. I would highly recommend him.

"Attention: Anyone interested in the best wood work.
In September I contracted with Empire Today---yes the one much advertised on TV---to remove all of my carpet and replace it with laminate and tile. The stairs to the basement were covered by a separate contract.
They were very good. Finished the main house in three days as promised.
They returned on the next Tuesday, moved their equipment to the basement and removed the carpet from the stairs. Suddenly, all activity STOPPED! The men had long conversations with people at the main office. Finally Matt appeared. After much discussion Matt said “they could not do the stairs"!!
The next week was awful. Empire Today adamant. So I finally called every contractor that advertised in our local paper. Two agreed to come out and assess the problem. Then, the last name on the list ATC was answered by Michael. He was angry with Empire Today as I whan he cooled down he had a solution---maybe. He have me the name of John Ward. I felt that anyone reading this had to know what preceded John getting involved in this mess.
John is owner of Probity Hardwood Floors & Trim., he was in the area and came out that afternoon. After careful evaluation of the problem John gave me a comlete contract, all materials, hours and time to start.
He came. He worked quickly and so neat. I have two house cats, he was so considerate of them. John knew exactly what had to be done and he did it!
In very little time I had a beautiful oak stairwell, three coats of finish, trim all in place and painted. Now remember Empire could not do this.
I would love to have this man build a house for me. He is truly talented and so pleasant.
